Four years after the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, a new game in the franchise was finally revealed. Earlier today at the Nintendo Direct presentation, Monolith Soft teased Xenoblade Genesis. The game will release at some point in 2027, but no additional details were revealed outside of the announcement trailer. You can view it below.
That was a big surprise for fans of the series, but that’s not all Nintendo is doing. Each game in the original trilogy will be getting a new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Ever since the Switch 2 released, fand have been wondering they this series hasn’t been getting upgrades. But now fans have a lot to look forward to.
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available to download later today. The Switch 2 Editions of its sequels will be available later this year. All three games will play in 60 FPS while TV mode will support full 4K resolution and handheld mode will support 1080p. Each game will also include additional features, all of which can be seen in the trailer below.
