Right on the heels of announcing that the Switch 2 will receive a price increase, Nintendo announced that they’re launching a brand new Switch 2 bundle that lets you choose from one of three downloadable titles. Previously there were only two console options, the console by itself for $450, and the console with Mario Kart World for $500.
This new bundle will also cost $500, but you can choose between Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokemon Pokopia. This is a far better deal than the previous bundle, as it gives way more variety. For instance, I bought the console by itself when it launched. Paying only $50 for Mario Kart World would have been a steal, but I wouldn’t have been able to play it fully until all my friends also got a Switch 2. Plus I suck at Mario Kart in general.
Giving the option of having a Donkey Kong or Pokemon game gives single-player gamers way more variety. The Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle will launch next month at select retailers
