Earlier today, Summoners War announced a collaboration event with Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End that will begin next week. I’m a huge anime fan, and while I have my reasons for not being a huge fan of Frieren, I do love many of the characters. So as someone who’s been playing Summoners War for more than a decade, this is an event that I’m fairly excited for.
For those who don’t know, Summoners War is a popular turn-based MMO game with gacha mechanics. The game frequently does collaboration events with popular gaming and anime franchises so that more characters can be brought into the game. This will be its third anime collaboration, following Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer.
The event will bring five characters from Frieren into the world of Summoners War. During the event, players can summon these characters to permanently keep in their game, but those who miss the event will miss out on these characters forever. The characters that will be featured include Frieren, Stark, Fern, Ubel, and Himmel. The event will begin June 29.
