Capcom has been around for a very long time and developed dozens of successful video games. They’ve always been successful but today I want to talk about what they’ve been doing now because 2026 is aiming to be a huge year for them. That’s right, Capcom is in the middle of a generational run right now. They’re releasing banger after banger in such a short amount of time, and it’s hard not to support what they’re doing.

It all started three weeks ago with the release of Resident Evil Requiem. I didn’t get a chance to play it myself, but it quickly became one of the highest rated Resident Evil games of all time. That says a lot considering how many games and remakes there are in the franchise. This one has the potential to be huge.

Then there’s Monster Hunter Stories 3 Twisted Reflection, which just came out a few days ago. I played it and reviewed it and I thought it was one of the best games in the franchise. I had more fun with this game than any of the previous Story titles and thought it had the best plot of any Monster Hunter game. It’s one of the ten best turn based RPG’s that I’ve played this decade. It’s a great Monster Hunter game but has the potential to be a huge gateway game for people who haven’t played the series before.

Then later this month we have the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection that was originally released on the DS twenty years ago. It’s just an updated port of the series with quality of life updates and extra goodies but it’s going to be a big deal for Mega Man fans. I previewed the game and had a blast even thought it was my first time playing the Star Force series.

Lastly, Pragmata will be releasing next month. It’s the only game on this list that’s an original IP and I know nothing about the game nor do I really plan on playing it on my own. But it’s expected to be a massive hit for Capcom. That’s four huge titles releasing in a span of just six weeks, Capcom has been on a roll.
