When you’re training your monsters in Summoners War, there are six main ways to make them stronger. You can level them up, evolve them, and awaken them. You can also equip them with runes, artifacts, and relics. In this guide, I’ll show you how to awaken your monsters. Doing so will make them stronger, and will give them a new name and design.
First you’ll need to max out the default level of the monster you wish to awaken. If it’s a three star monster, they need to be level 25. If it’s a five star monster, they’ll need to be level 35. Doing this is pretty easy because you just need to include them in your team when doing battles. Or you can feed other monsters to level them up quickly. Once you’re at the max level, you’ll just need a bunch of essence.
This is usually pretty easy because you can stockpile a bunch over time. But if you’re newer, you’ll have to grind. In Cairos Dungeon, there’s the Hall of Elements. It’s basically a dungeon for each of the five monster types, plus one for magic. Let’s say you want to awaken a fire monster. For example, you might need five High Fire Essence and fifteen Mid Fire Essence. You just keep spamming the dungeon until you get what you need.
But it will take time. You won’t get essence every battle, and sometimes you might get the wrong size. So you need to keep grinding. Then you need to repeat the process all over again in the Hall of Magic. This is because every monster, regardless of type, also needs a ton of magic essence. Once you have satisfied both conditions, you can awaken that monster.
