Fans of the How Not To Summon A Demon Lord series have a lot to celebrate today. Nearly five years since season two began its broadcast, the production team officially announced that the third season is in development. No additional details have been revealed at the time.
The original light novel series by Yukiya Murasaki and Takahiro Tsurusaki has 14 volumes in print since 2014. The anime hasn’t been as consistent. The first season aired in 2018, while the second season aired in 2021.
Five years ago, when I was really getting into anime, How Not To Summon A Demon Lord was one of the first ones that I watched. I didn’t even make it ten minutes into the first episode before I had to drop it and do other stuff because it was a bit much. But then I got back into it and it became one of my favorites.
