You And I Are Polar Opposites is getting a second season. The announcement was teased earlier this month, but was made official following the final episode of the first season. The second season will air this July, only three months after the conclusion of the first season.
The first season covered the first four volumes of the original manga by Kōcha Agasawa, spanning chapters 1 through 31. The manga ended in 2025 after eight volumes and 65 chapters. With only 34 chapters left to adapt, the anime is expected to wrap up following the second season.
The first season was legendary for a romance anime, as it currently sits at an 8.35 score on My Anime List. I decided to watch the first episode on a whim three weeks into the season and instantly fell in love with the characters. You can read my thoughts on the anime here.
